Our Planning
DogTrainingAtHome was created to solve a common problem within online dog training: generic courses and prerecorded videos often provide the same advice regardless of a dog’s age, breed, personality, home environment, behavior, or training history.
The platform needed to deliver something more personal. Instead of asking owners to search through large content libraries, we planned an onboarding experience that gathers meaningful information about each dog—including its breed, age, behavior challenges, personality, lifestyle, existing skills, daily routine, and the owner’s goals.
These details form the foundation of a personalized training journey. We mapped how the system would transform the owner’s answers into a structured, step-by-step plan containing relevant exercises, explanations, schedules, and achievable daily tasks.
Usability was especially important. Many dog owners are not professional trainers and may feel overwhelmed by complicated techniques or inconsistent online advice. We therefore planned a friendly experience that breaks training into manageable daily activities and explains what to do, why it matters, and how to respond when progress does not follow the expected path.
We also recognized that an initial plan alone would not be enough. Owners often need additional guidance while practicing with their dogs. The platform was planned with an AI trainer chat capable of responding to questions within the context of the individual dog, its training plan, behavior, goals, and recorded progress.
Consistency is central to successful dog training, so we designed a complete accountability system around the plan. Daily calendars, task completion, progress tracking, reminders, training journals, milestones, and certificates were planned to help owners remain motivated throughout the program.
Dog profiles introduced a community and social layer to the platform. Owners needed a place to showcase their dogs, describe their personalities and goals, display learned skills, share progress, and connect through profile views and “Paw” interactions. Privacy controls were also considered so owners could decide what information to make public.
From a business perspective, the platform needed to support free previews, one-time premium plans, and recurring memberships. We planned the product architecture, access controls, payments, subscriptions, account management, and feature availability around a flexible SaaS model capable of supporting continued growth.

What we did for
this project
CPEKS managed the complete product strategy, branding, UI/UX design, SaaS development, AI integration, payment architecture, and deployment of DogTrainingAtHome. We created a responsive onboarding system that collects detailed information about a dog and uses those inputs to generate a tailored training plan. Each plan is organized into practical daily exercises designed around the dog’s specific needs rather than a fixed, generic curriculum. We developed a secure member dashboard where owners can manage their dogs, review training calendars, complete daily tasks, record progress, access personalized guidance, and communicate with the AI trainer. The platform also supports training journals, reminders, downloadable plans, achievements, and completion certificates. A complete public dog-profile system was developed to give members a more engaging way to document and share their journeys. Each profile can feature the dog’s photography, breed, age, personality, preferences, goals, learned skills, owner information, profile statistics, and community interactions. The application was built using a modern cloud-based technology stack, with Vercel supporting deployment and Supabase managing secure data, authentication, and application services. Stripe was integrated for one-time purchases and recurring memberships.

The completed DogTrainingAtHome platform transformed a traditional content-based training concept into a personalized and interactive SaaS experience. Instead of receiving the same fixed course as every other customer, dog owners receive guidance shaped around their dog’s behavior, personality, age, routine, home environment, and training objectives.
The streamlined onboarding process makes advanced personalization approachable. Owners answer clear questions about their dogs, and the platform converts those details into an organized training journey with practical daily activities. This eliminates the frustration of searching through unrelated lessons or trying to determine which generic advice applies to a particular situation.
The member dashboard gives owners one central place to manage the entire training process. They can review scheduled exercises, mark tasks as complete, record observations, monitor progress, manage reminders, ask follow-up questions, and access supporting resources throughout the program.
The AI trainer adds an ongoing layer of personalized support. When an owner experiences a challenge or needs clarification, the assistant can respond within the context of the dog and its training journey. This creates a more adaptive experience than static videos, articles, or downloadable guides can provide.
Public dog profiles make the platform more engaging and community-oriented. Owners can celebrate their dogs’ personalities, display learned skills, document training progress, and interact with other profiles. Searchable profile discovery, views, verification indicators, and “Paw” interactions turn individual training journeys into a shared experience.
The commercial architecture provides a low-friction entry point through the free preview while offering clear upgrade paths to premium training plans and memberships. Stripe-powered payments and subscription management support dependable access control and recurring revenue within the platform.
Its responsive interface ensures that owners can use the service wherever training happens—at home, outdoors, or while practicing a specific exercise. The visual identity combines warmth, energy, and simplicity, creating a friendly environment that feels accessible to everyday dog owners.
The final result is more than an informational dog-training website. CPEKS delivered a complete AI-powered SaaS ecosystem connecting personalized plan generation, daily training, intelligent assistance, progress accountability, owner resources, social profiles, and subscription commerce within one scalable digital platform.
