InstaCustoms required a complete eCommerce transformation rather than a conventional platform migration. The existing PrestaShop store contained extensive product information, customer data, order history, customized products, and business-critical functionality that needed to be transferred to Shopify without disrupting ongoing operations.
Our planning began with a detailed review of the existing catalog, customer journey, product-personalization process, inventory structure, and fulfillment workflow. Because customers can personalize more than 1,000 products with text, artwork, logos, and different print locations, a standard Shopify product page could not provide the flexibility the business required.
We mapped the complete customization journey—from selecting a product, colour, size, and printing method to uploading artwork, positioning a design, reviewing the preview, and placing the final order. The objective was to make personalization approachable for individual customers while retaining the controls required by businesses, organizations, and high-volume buyers.
A major focus was the online product designer. We planned a responsive customization experience that could support front, back, sleeve, and other print areas while generating production-quality artwork at up to 300 DPI. Customers needed to see an accurate product preview and understand their available options without being overwhelmed by technical printing requirements.
Behind the storefront, we designed an automation-first infrastructure connecting Shopify with supplier inventory, multiple warehouses, pricing, customization data, order processing, and production workflows. Inventory had to remain synchronized across a large catalog, while every customized order needed to carry complete design instructions from checkout to production.
The migration and launch were carefully structured to preserve essential business data, minimize downtime, improve performance, and provide a scalable foundation for adding new products, printing methods, integrations, and operational capabilities in the future.
Prioritize your satisfaction by actively listening to your needs and concerns, ensuring a tailored web development experience that aligns with your vision.
Beyond expertise, empathizing with your challenges to deliver solutions that not only meet specifications but also exceed expectations.
Keep you informed at every stage, fostering a collaborative and transparent environment for a seamless client-provider relationship.
CPEKS managed the complete migration, redesign, development, integration, and optimization of InstaCustoms. We rebuilt the storefront on Shopify with a cleaner visual identity, improved navigation, mobile-responsive layouts, and a conversion-focused purchasing journey designed around personalized products. We integrated an advanced online product designer that allows customers to upload images, add personalized text, position artwork, select print areas, and preview their finished products before ordering. The customization information is transferred with the order, giving the production team the files and specifications needed for accurate printing or embroidery. We also developed and connected systems for supplier inventory synchronization, multi-warehouse stock management, product updates, order automation, and production processing. These integrations reduce repetitive administrative work and help maintain consistency across a catalog containing more than 1,000 customizable products.
Platform Migration: Migrated PrestaShop data and operations to Shopify.
Product Designer: Enabled live, high-resolution product customization.
Multi-Area Printing: Supported front, back, sleeve, and logo placement.
Inventory Automation: Synchronized products across three warehouses.
Production Workflow: Connected customer designs directly with fulfillment.

The completed InstaCustoms platform transformed a technically complex customization business into a streamlined and scalable Shopify experience. Customers can now browse an extensive selection of apparel, gifts, and promotional products, personalize their chosen items through an interactive design studio, preview the finished appearance, and submit production-ready orders from any device.
The new storefront makes customization accessible to a broad customer base. Individuals can create a single personalized item without needing professional design experience, while companies, teams, schools, and organizations can prepare branded merchandise and larger orders through the same intuitive workflow. Support for DTG, DTF, embroidery, and multiple decoration areas provides the flexibility needed for a diverse custom-product catalog.
Behind the customer-facing experience, CPEKS established a connected operational infrastructure that synchronizes supplier inventory, manages warehouse availability, preserves customization details, and moves orders efficiently toward production and fulfillment. The automation reduces manual data entry, improves order accuracy, and gives the business greater capacity to process customized orders at scale.
The successful migration preserved essential business information while replacing the limitations of the previous PrestaShop environment with Shopify’s flexibility, reliability, and growth potential. The platform is now easier to manage, faster for customers, and better prepared for new products, printing capabilities, sales channels, and future integrations.
The final result is more than a redesigned online store—it is a complete custom-commerce ecosystem that connects product discovery, creative personalization, inventory, ordering, production, and fulfillment within one scalable platform.
